First of all welcome to Midengine Motorsports, we are based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  

Midengine Motorsports celebrates good friends and we pay tribute to the world's ultimate vehicle layout: Midengine. Midengine Motorsports was founded by people who love, own and drive midengine vehicles for both pleasure and competition. We are very proud of the terrific group of automotive enthusiasts that make up the club and welcome many more. We are striving to be the most reliable resource for any and all information related to a midengine vehicle.

The goal of Midengine Motorsports is to unite car fans like us into one place to share ideas and encourage friendly competition.

Midengine vehicles are definitely sexier for the reason that they are predominantly two-seater sports cars. The benefits of the midengine design could be disputed. The handling and balance are excellent but access to the engine for repairs or modifications can be difficult. What can’t be debated is that some of the most desirable and expensive vehicles in the world ARE midengine and the exclusive nature of these vehicles makes them distinctive. Not surprisingly Italians were the first to produce midengine vehicles and have built more than any other country. Italians understand passion for the automobile and it is this passion that best describes the appeal of the midengine layout. The midengine layout is most useful in competition where convenience or comfort is irrelevant. The golden age of midengines was in the 1970's where almost every auto manufacturer had midengine designs in planning or production.
